ART OF THE OIL CHANGE

Why should you change your oil every 3,000 miles for regular oil and every 6,500 for synthetic oil?

Changing the oil at these intervals is the single most important part of your car's maintenance program. When an engine is running, combustion byproducts are produced and end up in the oil, which reduces the ability of the oil to lubricate the engine and increases the amount of wear on the engine. Some enthusiasts change their oil as frequently as every 1,500 miles.

What benefits do you get when you change your oil with New Canaan Foreign Car Service?

We save you money because we always have an "Oil Change Discounted Special" which is a change that includes a complete 45-point safety check of the car. When the oil is changed, a complete and thorough safety check will be performed which will alert you to any potential trouble areas. We also cross-check the car mileage with the vehicle manufacturer's maintenance schedules for any other maintenance the car may be due.

During the oil change we replace the engine oil, oil filter, and drain plug washer. All fluids are checked and topped off, all lights are checked, and tire pressures checked (including the spare tire). You gain the peace of mind that trained professionals have inspected your car and we will notify you by telephone when your next service is due.
